MacRitchie Reservoir Walk

"Make of us the hero warriors we aspire to become. May we fight successfully the great battle of the future that is to be born, against the past that seeks to endure; so that the new things may manifest and we may be ready to receive them."

- The Mother

Date: 14th September 2008, Sunday
Time: 8am
Venue: MacRitchie Reservoir entrance

As part of the IEP academic year, we organize four outdoor activities, one during each school holiday. This year, our first trip will take us to the secondary forest around Mc Ritchie reservoir, where we will immerse ourselves in nature, observing several flora and fauna including turtles and monkeys on our journey.

The walk will be three hours long. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of drinking water (1.5 litres per person) and nourishing snacks (fruits, a bar of chocolate). Proper attire is important, long sleeved cotton shirts or T-shirts, long pants with sports or walking shoes and socks is recommended. Participants may also wish to bring along a camera and a pair of binoculars. Children are advised to carry their own bags and water and not rely on another for these. Please be punctual and report at MacRitchie Reservoir entrance by 8am.

All are welcome. For more details please contact Jayanthy, 96522197 or email k.jayanthy@gmail.com.
